About the job
We need live-in home care to take care of my mother with Alzheimer. I need someone that has experience in this area. She needs companionship and someone to keep her engaged in activities. Her short term memory is spotty at best, basically gone. She can still get dressed, take a shower etc. but cannot drive, cook or make any kind of decisions as simple as what to eat and when to eat. She has a small maltipoo dog that she loves but is not able to remember to take her out. Additional responsibilities include tidying up, meal preparation, running errands. She currently lives in ATL but will be moving down to a condo here close to me so I can also help. She does not need 24Hr care right now but its coming. I want her to get to know her caregiver while she can.
