About who needs care: Caring for my mother-in-law with dementia Pick up at 7 a.m. at my house. Wake her up around 8:30 a.m. Help her dress and get her coffee, empty her potty, etc. Leave around 10 a.m. to travel to her home approximately 10 minutes away. Will need to feed her animals when you get there and before you leave. Light housekeeping. Assist with cooking, administering medication, making calls, encouraging exercise, etc. Leave her house by 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. to take her back to my house to drop her off with my husband by 4:00 p.m. She enjoys company but struggles with conversation at times. Needs motivation and assistance to do everyday activities. About the care needs: Looking for someone with patience, who is trust-worthy My daughter watches her during the week but needs a break, as she is becoming overwhelmed and hasn't had a day off in a year and a half. If things go well, this could be recurring, for whenever she may need off or if she becomes sick and so forth. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
