About the care needs: My husband is mentally disabled and his executive functioning skills are limited. This job mostly entails getting him to do things, i.e. take showers, change his clothes, exercise, clean up, etc. There is no actual physical care taking involved. It's all about encouraging him to do things. He is physically able to do anything, but needs constant guidance and reminders. Person has to be good at encouraging and patient at giving instruction but also needs to be firm. My husband is very sweet and aims to please people. Applicant must like pets. Services needed include: companionship.
