About who needs care: lovely woman who uses a cane and anticipates knee surgery. Has a interstitial lung disease which can give her shortness of breath. Lives on three level. Mostly living on one level currently. Very sharp mentally. Good-spirited and easy-going. Likes to laugh. Likes to read and be social. Struggles physically. Slow moving in morning. Afternoon activity best. About the care needs: Cheerleader! Encourager. Can-do attitude, but gentle. Likes to chat, but not talk your ear off. Open to doing laundry, cleaning, tidying up. For example- when jam spills on the floor, my mother can not clean it up. Care provider needs to take initiative to clean up the jam. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
