My parents (84 & 83 years) live in Charlestown, RI and my mother has moderate Alzheimers. She is mobile and can do things but needs coaxing and instruction. My dad is looking for someone 12-15 hours total 3-4x a week for housekeeping, dress/grooming, hygiene/shower (hates it), light lunch/snack meal prep, time permitting socialization/enrichment - hobbies (flowers, birds). Must be able to climb stairs as laundry is in their basement. I've been trying to convince him to move it upstairs. Hours somewhere between 11am-5 p.m. and preferably weekdays as he often has appointments and needs someone to be with her. If any of these needs/days/time are a problem, he may be flexible. My husband and I live in North Carolina and my dad doesn't use the computer so I'm assisting him in finding care. Thank you for considering!
