Seeking live-in home care in Bristol for my mother in her 80s. Assistance with medication is needed. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Personal care required, including feeding. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation as well as providing companionship and social interaction. Our mother likes to get out of the house into town, even if for a lunch or a drive through the park. Her sense of humor is firmly intact, and we seek someone who will offer affirming care for her. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). We prefer our caregiver to be a CNA--with a current license if possible. Preferences for a caregiver who is patient, a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
