About the job
About who needs care: Stage 4/5 Parkinson's. I need someone who truly understands this disease, and is patient, empathetic and willing to do what my father needs. There is a camera that I peek in on to ensure safety so I always let people know. Recently put on blood thinners so he cannot have a single fall. Has in and out moments with dementia type confusion. Needs much help with medicine reminders, making meals and laundry. He is in depends and so I need someone comfortable in that area as well. This is my only family left and my father means the world to me, so I tend to be quite over protective and will require an interview first. He is also a man of faith so that's a plus if you are as well. If not, that is okay too. Would love to have someone encourage light exercise (like a walk on his rollator) to keep him moving.
