About who needs care: My dad has terminal cancer and needs assistance with getting up, getting his coffee, taking his medication and someone to make sure he's eating meals and drinking fluids. There will be minimal meal prep. It would basically be heating up the meal and giving it to him. He enjoys sports, cars, hunting, and watching TV. He would need someone to come late morning to assist with coffee, meds, and meal. Then he mostly just watches TV. The caregiver would also need to get him water and ensure that he is drinking and eating in addition to taking his meds. About the care needs: Someone who is friendly, trustworthy, kind and caring, but firm with making sure he eats, drinks, and takes his medication. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
