About the job
We are looking for an in home caregiver for a 46-year-old female with cerebral palsy. Job requirements would be getting her out of and into bed (with use of a lift and another person to help if needed), feeding, showering, and giving oral meds. She mostly enjoys watching tv and using her tablet. She needs help getting drinks and eating. During a typical shift she may need to use the bathroom 2-3 times. We would prefer that you're able to do some heavy lifting. She uses a standing lift, but to get her into and out of bed does require some muscle. She can be difficult to understand, but is quite agreeable and happy to have company while she watches tv and plays on her tablet. Most times there will be another family member in and out and one friendly black lab. We have an almost 4-year-old mild black lab.
