Companion Care Needed For My Father In Southampton

About who needs care: Physically healthy but has vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. He goes from brisk walks 2-3x a day. He is very into health. Eats the same thing every single day and will prepare his own meals. He takes hundreds of supplements a day. He does not want anyone interfering with what he calls his protocol. He is very personable and happy. He is easy to be around. He wakes up around 8 a.m. Sometimes he goes right out for a walk and other times he goes into the kitchen to complete what he calls his protocol. We are slowly trying to get his house organized. He does not do well with change so it has to be done gently. One day going through old mail and another day organizing a closet. If you can keep up with him on his walks(he walks fast) then that would be great. He has had a few instances of getting lost and one fall that resulted in a broken wrist. He has an afternoon protocol and an evening one. He prepares his own meals. He does not cook. Everything he eats is for health. He does drive to the supermarket and in the neighborhood but anything outside of the neighborhood he would need to be drive. He has a yearly visit with the cardiologist. At exactly 5 p.m. he starts his evening protocol and after settles to watch TV. The TV is very important to him but he frequently forgets how it works. He has a land line but can't remember how to use that phone either so daily practice would be great. He orders all of his supplements online but struggles more and more with that. I also need to make sure no important mail that comes in gets discarded. We really are looking for company most of all, working with him to get the house in order, and making sure he can maintain his independence as long as possible. About the care needs: We would love to have someone experienced with someone who has lost their memory. Patience is a must. He used to sing and play guitar for a band so knowledge of music and health would be great. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
