About who needs care: Mom is in relatively good health with a good mind. She loves to read and cook and lives a quiet life in the country but not far from needed amenities. An ideal day for her is to spend some time on the computer, some time reading, a little walking, and caring for her plants. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver would be someone who can cross seamlessly between light personal care tasks and light home chores. The ability to drive Mom in her car weekly for groceries, nails, etc., is important. Personality-wise, we need someone who is self-sufficient, a graduate from the school of drama, willing to converse but not overly chatty or bossy and happy going about her day. Evening times and weekends open for personal life. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
