Very special caregiver is needed to follow daily protocol of diet and supplements, prepare heart-healthy foods, provide some measure of therapy as needed (part of a team of people working to rehabilitate client). Client likes gardening (but cannot), outdoor stuff, tossing a nerf football, doing puzzles and watching weather reports. About the care needs: Non-smoker, good English-speaking (client has severe aphasia so communication is already very challenging - strong accents and broken English won't work here), quiet & compassionate, very patient. Tolerant of client being Roman Catholic and willing to take him to his church on Sundays. Someone who likes the outdoors and can take client on walks or sit out in the summer sun, wheel him down to his garden - okay with some bugs and bees outside. Someone with a strong work ethic and interest in holistic therapies (vitamins, supplements, acupuncture, healthy diet, exercise, and other things) - training is provided and educational credits can be negotiated if appropriate Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
