About the care needs: Dad is a former engineer so fairly bright and is quite patient and appreciative. He requires patience, respect, efficiency, someone who can be firm but not overly demanding or overly talkative. Specialized skills to have some basic medical care knowledge so head off a problem before it becomes a crisis. Someone who can cook basic meals and someone who is neat and clean. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
