I am a 45-year-old female with full mobility needing a support person to accompany me just once for a screening colonoscopy at UPMC Shadyside hospital. I live just across the street from the hospital and do not need any transport, just someone to help me safely cross the street after the procedure. I will be having sedation for the procedure and require a support person, unfortunately nobody will be available to take me home on the day. It will only take a few hours. No care required.
