About the job
My Mom has Lewy Body Dementia. We currently have care other days, but require care on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You will help my Mom get ready in the morning, take her to any appointments, keep her active and exercised, entertain her, make and her meals, light cleaning, and any other tasks where she needs assistance. We are looking for somebody who is very caring, punctual, and has a go-getter attitude. Somebody who would be willing to find ways to engage my mom in a caring way, and keeping her entertained throughout the day. Sometimes my Mom has crying spells, so we are looking for somebody who is okay with her crying. She is currently living with my Dad at home. Service needs include: bathing, dressing, taking to appointments, meal prep, bathroom help, companionship, meds prompting.
