This account is for my father James (87). - James specific care: 3 years ago James underwent an above the knee amputation of his right leg. He is unable to stand and needs help with diapering, moving to and from his bed/recliner/motorized wheelchair using a hydraulic Hoyer lift. Experience using a Hoyer lift is not required, all training will be provided (it's very easy to use). - General: when you are not caring for James' immediate needs, you help with household duties. These duties include but are not limited to: helping make meals, grocery shop, household cleaning, laundry, organizing medications, transportation to doctors apts.
