Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Pittsburgh

About who needs care: I need care for both of my parents. My mother is relatively mobile but needs assistance with taking her meds and someone to keep an eye on her. My father just had leg surgery. He normally watches after my mother but will be immobile for 4-6 weeks. He will need assistance getting around their condo and with the bathroom and bathing. Father is 80 and mother is 76. Mother likes to paint and clean the house. About the care needs: My mother will be responsive to someone who is sweet and will listen to her talk about her health issues. My father just needs to stay off of his feet for 4-6 weeks. In terms of specialized skills, my mother takes a series of medications in the am, afternoon, and before bed. She needs help making certain she (a) takes the meds and (b) takes them at the right time. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
