About who needs care: My dad suffered a stroke 8 years ago. His right arm is useless. He recently fractured his right hip and had a partial hip replacement. He also has a nephrostomy after having his urinary bladder removed. He's usually up by 9:00 AM, has his coffee and breakfast and reads and watches TV. About the care needs: Dad needs help showering. A male would be preferable. He was president of a bank. He retired at 82 years old. He can be difficult. He is resistant to having help with showering, but he doesn't have a choice. Someone with a lot of patience and a sense of humor would be perfect. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
