About who needs care: my mom had a stroke, has barely no right side mobility, and her speech is impaired. She mostly stays in bed, needs assistance with going to the bathroom, dressing, bathing. She likes gardening, puzzles, music, movies. My mom's day consists of going to the bathroom in the am, try to get her to change for the day, eats a little something, rests in bed, try to take for a walk outside in her wheelchair (maybe stays out for 30 min), lunch, rests in bed, dinner, change for bed and then sleeps -might need to use bathroom at night About the care needs: someone who is patient and understands she gets frustrated because of her loss of communication. someone who would treat her like their own parent and realize her mood swings shouldn't be taken personally and let her strange and picky quirks be Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
