About who needs care: Coming out of rehab after recovering from c spine surgery for an issue that was causing compression of his spinal cord. He is neurologically fine, physically fine for the most part, just needs some supervision when mobilizing, in the shower, toileting. Has weakness in his upper extremities so difficulty getting fully dressed by himself. Not in a c collar anymore or anything. Loves to go to the local grocery store so looking for someone who can drive. He has a car that can be driven. Driving wouldn't be far, just the local grocery store or barber for hair cuts. Maybe a doctors appt here or there. Help doing laundry and meal prep. No cleaning necessary, just straightening up. About the care needs: My dad can be stubborn so needs someone who will be firm with him but he's funny and everyone likes him. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
