About who needs care: Lives alone at present, some difficulty with morning tasks, but can dress and shower independently (family would prefer someone is in the house during showers). Likes to feed birds, but is unable carry seed to feeder, has a cat that requires care (litter box, morning feeding). Gets meals on wheels, can heat up independently. Hard of hearing, but cognitively intact - likes puzzles and word games. About the care needs: Mom likes her quiet time with newspaper and word puzzles. She can be engaging in conversation but may want quiet time and will be content with silence at times. She would like for them to be comfortable with cats and with feeding her backyard birds. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
