About who needs care: My dad has Parkinson's disease. He loves sports and farming. He needs help in the morning getting dressed showered, and ready for the day. He also needs transportation to doctor's appointment and could also, as of lately, use help getting ready for bed. Medication and meal reminders would also be helpful. He has a Deep Brain Stimulator (DBS) that needs to be charged daily. About the care needs: My dad is a jokester and loves to talk and laugh. He is not shy about asking for what he needs or wants. He does not like when someone working for him sits around or is on their phone. My mom is also in the home and is fairly self sufficient but can use help with carrying bags in from the car, unloading the dishwasher, etc. My dad needs help keeping track of his appointments and who will be transporting him. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
