About who needs care: Patient cannot get to bdrm. Stays in electric recliner and uses commode next to it. Initially looking for aid to give her sponge bath and maybe wash hair. Approx. once every 2 wks in afternoon. About the care needs: Just be able to steady her to get out of recliner and steady her to slowly get to pwdrm using walker. Let her sit on toilet seat to be bathed. Maybe wash hair every couple weeks. No special interest. Slightly reserved. Patient has lymphedema in legs, both knees bad with arthritis. Muscle weakness due to inability to mobility. Sciatica in thighs. Pain level constant 5-6 Both upper legs weighted from edema buildup of fluid making mobility to walk limited. Patient receiving home care several times a week to compression wrap legs and treat healing wound on one leg. Mainly need once a week or two for hygiene bathing. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
