About who needs care: I'm pregnant with my second child (second trimester), recovering from a restrictive eating disorder and dealing with symptoms of POTS. These three together make getting out of bed unaided very difficult due to dizziness and heart rate problems. I am currently in a virtual day program for the eating disorder and rest for most of the day. I do as much as I can in bed but need help getting to the shower, having meals brought and other ADLs. I'm hoping that the situation will improve within a few months but it may take till after the birth. I have a lot of hobbies and interests, including art, crafts, knitting and writing. My ideal day would accommodate my meal plan of three meals, three snacks a day, some rest periods, time to interact with my baby and my husband. About the care needs: I'd like to work with someone who is respectful and gentle, not too "tough love" - I usually push myself too much. Encouragement to get up with support is good, but not pushing. I don't think any specific skills are needed, maybe some knowledge of pregnancy. It would be a plus if they were interesting to talk to. I'd be comfortable with female. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
