About who needs care: Walks with walker. Just recently had small stroke and her speech is the main thing affected but has some difficulty concentrating and some receptive aphasia as well.
She was normally pretty independent although I manage the cooking and home management. She normally likes to read, has a few shows she likes to watch on tv, look at newspaper everyday
Ideal day she gets up and dressed for day, usually rests a little , then breakfast, reads newspaper etc, walks around house for some exercise, lunch, then naps for a while.
About the care needs: Patient, social, tries to engage her in conversations, caring, be available and able to walk with her around the home and to the bathroom,
Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
