I am putting a post out to help my friend/employer find weekend help. They are both 83 and I have known them for 6 years. I do housekeeping for them, and I also currently help care for his wife who has advanced Alzheimer's. Weekend coverage has been a consistent issue. We need RELIABLE weekend coverage and possibly the occasional help filling in. Despite hiring several people to help weekends have been difficult to keep covered. Our care concerns are: Bathing / Dressing / Changing, Feeding, Companionship. She is not mobile, a hoyer lift is used for all transfers. All of her care like bathing, bed pan, changes, dressing is done in bed. We generally try to help with some laundry and dishes when we can. They are both kind and wonderful people to be around. I care for them deeply and am hoping to help him secure reliable help.
