About who needs care: Dad has Alzheimer's. He is 89yrs old. He enjoys old TV shows such as Beverly Hillbillies, Hogan's Heroes, I dream of Jeannie, Laugh-in, Green Acres. He also enjoys people watching and sitting on the rocking chair on the patio in warmer weather. About the care needs: Looking for someone to care for both parents as my mom is currently recuperating from a fall where she received several fractures in her pelvis, ribs and back. Need someone who is patient and can anticipate their needs, but doesn't hover over them. Need someone who can clean (vacuum, dust, straighten-up, empty trash). Need someone who can do laundry, including folding and putting away clothes. Need someone who can pick up groceries and put away. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
