Allen is a 70-year-old father of 4 adult children who has began to decline in health over the past year. He was recently diagnosed with fronto-temporal degradation and has mobility and short-term memory issues. He needs help each morning to get bathed, dressed, and brought his meds/breakfast. He also needs someone who is able to transport him to medical appointments. Allen is laid-back, and likes dogs and talking about sports - he is a huge Pitt fan! No specialized skills are needed - just someone who is caring, patient, and gentle with him. Services needed include: bathing, dressing, giving meds, helping him stay active, and transporting him to physical therapy (twice a week on Tues/Thurs) and to various doctor's appointments. Some mornings may only require 1-2 hours of care - but we are flexible and will appreciate any assistance!
