Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Halifax

About who needs care: Beginning of vascular dementia. Weakness on some days. Has fallen recently outside at my sisters but not since with me. She likes news and naps someone to cook or prepare food. She gets around somewhat slowly. Goes to bathroom alone but she needs help with clothing and showering sometimes. She doesn't go outside without me. She likes inside and rest and tv and someone to be interested in her with conversation. She does talk in circles sometimes with confusion. She is super precious to my siblings and I and others in town. About the care needs: outgoing and friendly and empathetic. Dementia skills Try some easy puzzles or get her to fold some light laundry and ask her ideas to make our home nicer. She likes when people tell her she has good ideas. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
