Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Gilbertsville

About who needs care: My husband has progressing pulmonary fibrosis. Terminal illness. Still ambulatory to bathroom and up 1 flight of steps at night ( extremely slowly). On continuous oxygen, 5/liters. His nights are fairly sleepless, so therefore mine are too. I would like assistance with his am care ( showering) 2 days/week. Maybe 2-3 hours twice a week. Basically so I can rest or run errands during that time. His condition will worsen so establishing some continuity of care now will help down the road. I am a retired BSN so we'll aware of his condition and needs. Breakfast is a non cook breakfast those days. After shower, he can dress himself at this point, help him downstairs, get his breakfast and relax the rest of the 2 hours. He naps off and on during the morning on the sofa. About the care needs: Nothing more at this time. I manage his medications. Basically a little assistance a couple days a week for me to rest or accomplish outside the home duties such as groceries and pharmacy. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
