About who needs care: Dementia, diabetes, limited mobility, open sores on feet. Likes listening to music, watching TV, the occasional book or puzzle book. May have to administer meds/check blood sugar. Transfer to portable toilet seat. About the care needs: We need someone for Sunday mornings, and Tuesday - Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We are both working professionals/Lutheran pastors. If we need to travel overnight, our dad will go into respite care at a nearby facility. He will have a hospital bed in the living room and a patient lift device so there will not be too much strenuous activity. We will prep meals or get simple frozen dinners to pop in the microwave. The house has video cameras for your safety. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
