About the job
My Mother is 81 and has dementia. She and my Father recently downsized to Elverson, PA to be close to family (I live in Brooklyn). My Dad is her primary caretaker and could use a little help. We are looking for someone that can help with personal assistance -- eating meals, taking medicine, going to the bathroom, bathing, getting dressed -- and general socializing. My Mom is a wonderful woman and has a great sense of humor. We are looking for someone that is the right fit - flexible, dynamic and energetic that will treat my mom with respect, kindness and help bring a smile to her face. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. The schedule is somewhat flexible and may increase over time.
