I'm looking for companion care for my father in his 80s. He currently lives in a senior care facility and while the staff provides all personal care for him - bathing, toileting, meal prep, activities, we would like him to have 1:1 care in the evenings. The role would be to assist him while he eats dinner and to provide focused attention to stimulate him cognitively before bedtime - using games, reading to him, music, conversation, watching television, etc.. He suffered a series of strokes in October and his health has declined considerably since then. He is physically weak and wheelchair-bound.
