About who needs care: He has Parkinson's disease, is mostly mobile on his own but due to his "off periods" when medication wears off he freezes and has become afraid of running errands or being home alone. He has an emergency wheelchair in case of these freezing periods. He coaches soccer and goes to the local college twice a week for classes and has a personal trainer he goes to usually once a week. About the care needs: Someone who is higher energy and motivational, as he can get down when he is having a bad Parkinson's day and feels stiff. Someone who likes sports would be a bonus but not necessary, he struggles with speech at times due to poor muscle tone from his DBS surgery so patience and not being afraid to ask him to repeat himself is a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
