About who needs care: Stroke recovery affected his left side, leaving my husband unable to do many things, wheelchair dependant, and needing help. Communication is not an issue. About the care needs: Sense of humor, smiles, and wanting to turn everyday things into games are important. Able to help transfer to/from wheelchair to chair, bed, toilet. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
