Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Dover

About who needs care: My sister and I would like someone to come visit with our mom while we are at work. She is ready and in need of assistance with organizing and cleaning her home (at times she is not on the same page). She loves to go out to eat and visit the local markets in York. She enjoys eating homemade foods, but she does not cook at her house. Our mother is quite spunky, she is full of life, and she likes reminiscing about the past. In addition we would like weekly showers to be incorporated into her schedule. Our mother is diagnosed with mild/moderate dementia. She may be resistant to help at first since she has always been an independent woman who enjoys working in the community. She has been employed for over 6 1/2 decades. She still works at the York Revolution during the summer and winter. She also volunteers at the York Fair. Our mom also mows her grass and gathers the leaves as they keep blowing into her yard. About the care needs: Be willing to flexible and roll with her lively personality. Mom always wants to be on the move and doing something. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
