About who needs care: 92 yo with history of failed hip surgery, copd & heart failure, had been driving and using walker for past 13yrs. Now with torn rotator cuff, antecubital ulcers. Can no longer use walker and wheelchair bound. 90% total care. Incontinent, hospital bed, wheelchair and lift chair. About the care needs: Strong willed elderly lady, not used too being able to fend for herself, will need a very patient caregiver. Skills for total care including bed bath, transfer, meal prep, wound care, incontinent hygiene and light housekeeping are required. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
