About the job
About who needs care: I am a disabled 32 year that is mostly independent with primary caregiving duties attended to by my partner. My ability to drive is deteriorating and I will be unable to drive for at minimum 6 weeks this year. I need assistance with getting to appointments as far as the Lehigh Valley and occasionally in Philly. I will need occasional supervision in home so I can shower at times, but do not need help physically bathing. Outside of recovery periods, hours will be likely not exceed 5 per week and you would have ample notice in the case of rides. I am unsure of what recovery periods will look like depending on the surgery. I have one dog and five cats that are all quite friendly. About the care needs: Ideally someone close to my age would be great, I would prefer a female as well, but I am open to all backgrounds depending on how we click! All assistance needed would be during regular business hours. I am also open to working with anyone who would need to have their child or dependent with them in some circumstances. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
