About who needs care: Chronic lymphedema bilateral lower extremities, history of DVT/phlebitis, recent hernia repair surgery w/ seroma formation limiting ability to bend to put on compression stockings and recent diagnosis of cellulitis requiring hospital stay- plan to discharge in 24-48 hours About the care needs: Compassionate, understanding, ability to assess lymphedema swelling and correct use of compression stockings and lymphedema pump; mom has a cat so must be able to be around cat, etc. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
