About who needs care: My Mother is recovering from a stroke in November 2023 (~1 year ago). She has made steady improvement to where she is ~75% of pre-stroke functioning. She has responded well to all therapies and continues to make gains through exercising. She is a very positive, optimistic people person and we're looking for a great caregiver with a similar personality. She is very pleasant and agreeable, which is why I call her the "compliant client". About the care needs: Minor assistance with personal care & mobility, although she can fully dress herself & does very well with a walker and cane. Continued home physical therapy & exercises, meal preparation, light housekeeping, reading & writing, board games, companionship. Really want someone who has solid experience with PT & OT. Having fun and laughing are very welcome!
