About who needs care: My grandmother is immobile and bedridden, and gets a change multiple times a day. My grandfather was her primary caregiver during the day, but he is also in his 80s and was diagnosed with leukemia. This makes him too weak for regular tasks such as cleaning her up and feeding her. About the care needs: Any caregiver in her home would need to be able to physically lift/move her to change her. She is not a particularly large woman (probably about 160lbs), but with her lack of mobility she does not hold herself up. While she herself is not very talkative anymore, her husband (my grandfather) is always friendly and thankful for any help in his home. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
