About who needs care: Looking for an honest, reliable, friendly person to visit with our mother and perform some light housekeeping. Our mother is insulin dependent diabetic with early stage dementia. She can care for herself however she needs some assistance in her meds, some self care needs and companionship. Possibly some transport to medical appointments if family isnt available. Caregiver Must be trustworthy. A resume, references and background screening will be reviewed prior to decision. About the care needs: Friendly, honest, patient, trustworthy neat and reliable, talkative but also a good communicator. Basic first aid, CPR, diabetes/insulin knowledgeable, basic medical skills referred. Outdoor and indoor activities, talking, gardening, cooking, Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
