About who needs care: Recovering from brain surgery and stroke. Was previously independent, is now okay but a little unsteady when walking and has some speech and cognitive issues. Looking for someone to assist for an hour or so a day with some cleaning, making sure meds have been taken/eating well, getting to appointments, just keeping an eye on her and making sure her physical, mental, and emotional health are good. About the care needs: Must not be afraid of very large dogs Must be patient with her husband, who can be loud and opinionated but is harmless She used to love hobbies like crafts and pottery painting, so someone who could be a buddy and get her active in gentle ways would be great Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
