About who needs care: My father is a recent amputee and he has an ulcerative wound that is not healing on the remaining leg. He is currently on hospice care. The hospice nurses come every day to do wound care. He is not able to transfer by himself and needs to toilet in bed. His mind is still sound but he does need assistance with ADLs and someone to assist with meds. About the care needs: My dad has a dry sense of humor. He is a Catholic and is religious. He responds best to women. Also, my mother lives in the house as well. She has some slight cognitive / memory issues, but she is able to take care of herself. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
