About who needs care: Welcome! We would love to welcome an au pair with experience and maturity to become part of our home. We are looking for someone, ideally around 50 years old, who is interested in providing companionship and assistance with a family member. Our family consists of two people: myself, who is speaking to you, and my son, who needs this service. My son, who is 40 years old, has mild autism and is fully independent in his daily life, but he would greatly benefit from having a kind person to accompany him and offer a bit of care in the mornings and afternoons. No prior experience working with individuals with autism is required; its a simple role that, due to time constraints, I cannot take on directly. Its important that the person has a basic level of Spanish to facilitate communication. What we offer: Comfortable accommodation: Private room with an independent bathroom. Flexibility in companionship: You can freely decide where to accompany my son, whether inside or outside the home, and you have the freedom to plan recreational or leisure activities that you consider appropriate for both. What we need from you: Your only responsibility will be to offer companionship and empathy. We will handle all other household responsibilities, including cleaning, preparing meals, and caring for your personal space, including washing sheets and towels. We just need you to share some time and attention with my son, giving him the chance to enjoy the warmth of good company and conversation.
