About who needs care: My mother has dementia and my father is her sole care giver. I'm looking for someone to come by for a few hours each week to help with changing sheets, basic house cleaning, and perhaps some things like cutting her hair. The job will probably start out as mostly house cleaning to help out my father, but then hopefully some care for her as you build a relationship. She is distrustful of strangers and can be uncooperative. About the care needs: Someone experienced with changing sheets with a bed ridden person. Someone who has experience with working with people with dementia. Services needed include: light housekeeping, changing sheets and care for bed ridden. I'm thinking 2-3 hours a week to start with.
