My mom is 72 and is extremely able/healthy but is suffering from dementia/ memory loss. She has lost her drivers license because of her cognitive decline and has recently moved into a beautiful assisted living facility in Springfield. We want her to remain as busy/ active as possible so I am looking for an "assistant" to be a companion and driver for her. Some days may be spent hanging close to her apartment at the assisted living facility/ getting organized and doing projects. Others may be more "out-and-about" with errands and outings. Mostly she needs companionship and someone to keep her up and active! She has plenty of life left to live, we just need help getting her up and out to live it! Very flexible days/ hours. She has a tiny dog and light care may be included in your responsibilities. You will drive her car when taking her out.
