About the job
I'm looking for companion care for my mother in her 80s. She's an amazing person, who is high functioning, but sadly has Alzheimer's. My stepdad needs a break- he does almost everything around the house (she should not cook/use stove and doesn't drive anymore). Mom is very social, loves going to the mall, getting her nails done, goes for walks, lunches with friends, etc. Someone who could go grocery shopping with my mom & make dinner occasionally (my stepdad does it all), would be super nice. You'll need a reliable car- getting out of the house and going places is a must - Did I mention she's super social? Kindness is key.
