About the job
Seeking weekend support for 70 y/o female with Alzheimers in Keizer. Completely mobile and can do most things on her own but is at the stage where she needs to be prompted to do and complete daily tasks like taking meds, dressing, showering, and eating. She likes to be involved in cleaning and meal prep but doesn't always know what to do. Has the attention span of a toddler so she has to be kept on tasks. We are seeking assistance for two positions: 1) Week Day Evenings 2-2. 5 hours per day Mon - Fri. and 2) Split Shift on Sat/Sun with a morning shift of 2-3 hours and evening shift of 2-3 hours for a total of 5 hours per day, or one mid-day shift of 3 hours. Tasks include cooking/prep meals, prompting meds, selecting clothing and ensuring properly dressed, prompting teeth brushing and showers, light housekeep, and friendship.
