We haven't had the best luck with caregiving services here in Saint Helens. I think maybe carers don't quite understand the extent of Lewy Body Dementia. My mom who is almost 61, has Frontotemporal and Lewy Body Dementias... poor brain is being attacked my multiple angles. Currently It's just me and my dad (he's almost 70 & still works full time) doing our respective mom duty shifts each day. Mom can still walk, eat, drink on her own. Think every chair she sits in has arms now; as long as she has that support she can get up out of a chair in her own. We did ring in the new year with urinary incontinence. Looking to start out small, like an hour or 2 maybe twice a week in the afternoons to reintroduce in-home support. As rapport and receptiveness is built and grows, I would love to expand on this; that's the goal
